Friday morning we got backstage tours at a few
local theatres for our stage management class.
First off was Vertigo theatre, which specializes
in mystery plays. Although we didn't see much
of their backstage, I would love to work for them
in the future just because of the stuff they do.
The second theatre was Theatre Junction Grand,
and their venue is absolutely beautiful! They
reside in this old movie theatre that they've reno'd,
but you can still see parts of the original structure.

Please note the fabulous chandelier made out of used
glass bottles. Needless to say I would also love to work
at this place, but unfortunately they only specialize in
music and dance concerts, and thus have no costumes
or props crew. Our next & last visit was to Alberta
Theatre Projects, also known as ATP. Out of all three
this is the threate I would like to work at the most.
I love all of the plays they do and their costumes and
props shops are amazing.

I also took some shots of their props shop, but they
all turned out to dark or blurry.
