Just a quick update in list format.

1.
Exams are done, hooray! Still waiting for two final grade,
but I passed everything so far, including English.
2.
It's almost Christmas and our house is fully decorated and
smells of cookies. All I have left to do is gift wrapping and
finishing the menu.
3.
Crew lists for the next semester are up! I'm on costumes
for the first main stage and on lighting for the second one.
Not too pleased with lighting, but excited for costumes.
4.
The Christmas party was a blast, and my secret Santa was
extremely happy with the gift I got her. :)

So exams are coming and going,
I've had three so far, and I'm not
feeling to confident about them.
First was drafting, and while I love
this course and am rather good at
it, I completely read over one of
the most important words in the
exam question. I ended up erasing
and redoing half of it just before
running out of time, and didn't
manage to add any decorations as
a consequence. Second was lighting,
and I got my grade for that today.
Well I did not pass the exam, but I
finished the course with a C-. Last
was my English exam today, and
I'm not too sure what to think. I
probably passed the exam fine, but
I might fail the course since I didn't
hand in all of the assignments. Also
today was my practicum interview,
which went great! My supervisor
said the designer loved the props I
made and that I have a very good
eye for aesthetics. My final grade in
that class is an A- :D!

I have been rather obsessed with birds lately

Hey guess what? I'm in a good mood today!
Because I don't have any more classes till
January! And I am finished with all my final
projects! :D So I know I have been pretty
bitchy lately, and I feel pretty bad, but at
least that's all over and in the past (though
feel free to yell at me if you have to). Today
my little's sister's middle school had their
annual Christmas concert and it was lovely.
During intermission I noticed the sound/
light booth being "open to the public" as the
technician had opened the window and was
talking with some people (probably friends).
Being a techie it was very tempting to walk
by and say hello, but my nerves took over.
I did, however, notice he had a huge Mac.
screen standing at his desk . . .

Reciprocity: to respond to a positive action
with another positive action, and to respond
to a negative action with another negative
action (wiki). It seems that as of late the
majority of classmates have no idea of this
concept and they're getting on my nerves.
Thank god tomorrow is the last day of classes.

Although not much has happened in the
last few days, I did make a few new friends.
Thursday day night I watched a movie with
the same people I went out for dinner with
on Monday, only without one of them and
with a different guy in his stead. This guy I
had never really met before, but he added
me on facebook last night and we ended up
talking for hours. (: During all those hours I
also dyes my hair bright red, or at least, that
is how it was supposed to end up like, but it
is much darker than that. ):

I also worked on
my Sinterklaas (google it) present, which
turned out really nice and I hope my mom
will like it too. Since we aren't allowed to just
plainly wrap it, I decided to make a tape
sculpture and decorate it to make it look icy.
This cold theme is in direct contract with the
gift because I got her a bottle of bath soap,
which is a nice orange colour.

keeping it longer in the back.

School days aren't that exciting these days,
especially when I only have one class each.
Since costumes is over I only had English
yesterday, and I hate that class. Today I
only had stage craft and I more or less hate
that class too. We're currently working on
a tiny little shelf and learning knots, which
are both super easy and I couldn't care less.
After class I ran to the finance office because
our winter semester fees are due and I'm
not getting my loan until January 1st. This
wouldn't be a concern, but my loan is about
$400 short so I thought I might have to pay
that bit today, only I can't because I'm broke.
Luckily I found out that I don't have to pay
anything till January 18, so all is good. :D
Some friends were planning to go out for
dinner so I decided to tag along to celebrate.
I don't think I've ever had such perverted
conversations while eating dinner, but it was
a lot of fun. Also, the food was really good!
I hadn't eaten at a restaurant for ever,
especially with good company, so I had a
great time. Now if only I could finish this paper.
